In Deutschland trat die Erkrankung das erste Mal im Winter 1990\/91 auf.<\/p>\n<p>Das Virus kann sich durch Tr\u00f6pfcheninfektion und durch die Luft sehr rasch ausbreiten. Kennzeichnend f\u00fcr die Erkrankung sind Sp\u00e4taborte um den 110. Tag der Tr\u00e4chtigkeit. Es k\u00f6nnen tote oder lebensschwache Ferkel geboren werden.
